Considering HAL Veendam 11/16/08

My wife and I cruised on the Westerdam a couple weeks ago and had so much fun we are considering going again later this year. Does anyone have any experince on the Veendam in a wheelchair? The ports are Key West, Belize City, Santo Tomas de Castilla and Costa Maya. Any info on these ports-of-call as well would be appreciated. The ship leaves from Tampa and we are looking for a hotel with shuttle service to stay at the day before the trip. As anyone affected by a disability knows, a good trip starts with good planning.
