Mercury Cabins

Hello everyone

I'm holding an aft cabin on the Mercury for 12 October 2009. The cabin I'm holding is 1154 (cat SV) on Penthouse deck, but they also have the same category cabins available in a similar position on Panorama Deck.

Anyone have any preference to one or the other?

Thanks

Lee

Lee.....our kids were in 8261 on the Panorama just last week, we were down the hall. The Pavilion Nightclub below was a problem a couple of nights, bass boom coming up through the floor.

Unless someone tells you otherwise I'd stick with the Penthouse deck. At least on our cruise that aft deck above was little used.

Lee,

I would stick with your current location. The verandas are huge and you can pop up the aft staircase anytime to grab a piece of pizza, visit the sushi bar, or the buffet.

We were on the Penthouse Deck (cabin 1000) last October. It was as far froward as you can get on that deck. We could hear the bass boom from the nightblub two floors above us. I am sure aft would be fine.

For those in the SV cabins, was the balcony on the Penthouse Deck covered or private? Was it bigger? Heard the bed does not move and is surrounded by walls on 3 sides? If anyone can shed some light, that would be great. Perhaps the view off the fan tail is worth some of the inconveniences?
