lcpagejr Posted May 5, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 5, 2008 Hahahah...On top of that you have to take into consideration were in NY too!!! I plan on tipping $1 per bag...and/or round up to the closest $$ denomination
johnql Posted May 5, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 5, 2008 $1-2 per bag. For 3 bags, I just round it up to $5 (convenience of not having to deal with singles).

Hei1980 Posted May 19, 2008 #6 Share Posted May 19, 2008 We arrived at the pier early, it was a mistake, lots of confusion with the porters taking the baggage off the ship then you have people trying to get the porters to take their bags so they could check in. No large metal cart to put the on-going luggage in as in most ports. My husband has to have a wheelchair, no place to sit until I found one for him; at last one of the Carnival people wheeled someone off the ship, thank goodness. I then found a porter who carried our two very heavy bags in, no handcart. I asked him to go with me to my husband, just a few steps away, so I could get money for his tip; he said “There is no need to tip me”. I almost fell over…..I had to insist before he took the $10.00 tip.
