aussietrek Posted May 6, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 6, 2008 Does anyone know anything about this room? It is a interior Royal Promenade room....I wonder if it will be near a bridge?
cb at sea Posted May 6, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 6, 2008 A bridge???? Do you mean THE bridge (where the captain operates the ship)--what other "bridge" is there???
aussietrek Posted May 6, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted May 6, 2008 Hi, sorry for being unclear....I mean the bridge overlooking the promenade, where the dancers and singers sometimes perform (e.g., during Dancing in the Street). An earlier posting stated that if your room overlooks the promenade and it's on the 6th floor, make sure the bridge is not close by because it can obstruct your view. Just wondered if anyone knows. Thanks!
AF-1 Posted May 11, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 11, 2008 Room 6305 is located on the Royal Promenade,, it is located near one end; however I can not tell by looking at RCCL deck plans if it's at the bridge end or on opposite side of bridge.
serene56 Posted May 13, 2008 #5 Share Posted May 13, 2008 6305 is located on this side of the bridge-- for a better view you want the other side. photos will show you the first 5 cabins are on the other side of the bridge.
138east Posted May 25, 2008 #6 Share Posted May 25, 2008 I think you will enjoy your location - right by the aft elevators and stairs. This will give you easy access to all the food, the pool deck, the sports deck, Dizzy's and all the port debarkations and embarkations. The theater is the only major destination forward in the ship. We were in 6612 and loved it.
