Noise: Enchantment JS 8618

Recommended Posts

Hey Everybody -

I'm booked in JS 8618 on EOS which appears to be right below the Solarium. Do we think noise from above will be a problem? There are still quite a few JS's available so it's not too late for me to switch.

Any thoughts?

You MAY be okay, since you're close to the entry way. We were 8636, right under the middle of the Solarium. The Solarium floor is not smooth -- some sort of bumpy tile pattern. When service carts were pulled overhead (frequently), it sounded like a train was passing by. If you can move forward, you might be better off.

Also, keep in mind that there is a small number of JS's on this deck that have floor-to-ceiling poles at the foot of the bed. Ours didn't, and they might not be that objectionable. If RCI or your agent can't identify them, careful study of the deck plans combined with exterior photos can help.

Enjoy!

Thanks so much for the reply. Now whats the deal with the pole? Any idea which JS's have them and are they really a hinderance?

Actually, I'll be taking a pole dancing class in July so that might not be half bad:D!

Hinderance?

People love their polls. Inside or out. They are the next best thing to a hump or aft cabin. In this case the aft has the poll on the balcony.

FUN!
