Hi everyone were booked on oceana on the 18th october and are sailing to the canaries on our cruise we were wondering if the duty free was as cheap as in gibralta. humpy:)

No it isn,t ,its roughly the same as mainland Spain.

One thing to remember about bringing duty free items back into the UK from Europe is this.............

 

When travelling from Gibraltar, you can bring the following into the UK for your own use without paying UK tax or duty (if you are under 17 you cannot have the tobacco and alcohol allowances).

Thanks for that - I just looked at the post again and only now realised I wrote Channel Islands not Canary Islands!!
