Egypt Safety for Children?

My husband and I have traveled many places in the world. But We have only stayed in Central/North/South America, Caribbean and most of the countries in Europe. We just got free flights to go to Italy so we were looking to take a cruise out of Italy and many of the cruises go to Egypt. This will be the first trip for our little one. She will be around 10 months old. Do you think it is safe around egypt to bring a 10 months along?

Thanks,

Kimberley

I personally don't think its a good idea. A baby's immune system is not fully developed and Egypt while safe physically is not the cleanest of places. A 10 month old puts everything in their mouths. Check with your pediatrician. This is a trip when she is older or left at the grandparents. Also RC has just prohibited any child less than a year old so many of the cruise companies will be following suit.
