macusa19 Posted October 8, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 8, 2004 For anyone who has been to Paradise Beach, do they have Miller Lite beer?? Also, I have heard not to drink the water unless it is bottled. If I want to order a foo-foo drink that contains ice, what should I expect? Is the ice made from the water that I shouldn't drink? Please advise, as I am looking forward to my first cruise on the Elation 12/12/04, and can't wait to visit "paradise". Thanks!
kcdd Posted October 8, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 8, 2004 I had frozen margaritas there, no problem. I think my husband wanted a coors light and all they had was Dos Equis and one other local beer.
zydecocruiser Posted October 8, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 8, 2004 Have not been to Paradise Beach, but as far as Cozumel water/ice goes will refer you here: http://www.eagleraydivers.com/Drinkthewater.htm
Rasta Pirate Posted October 8, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 8, 2004 macusa19, If you look on the Paradise Beach website, it mentions that they use "100% purified water & ice". So I don't think you'll have any problems. Here's their website: http://www.paradise-beach-cozumel.net/home_pbeach.php Enjoy! RP
Cozumel_Tom Posted October 13, 2004 #5 Share Posted October 13, 2004 macusa19...Live a little! This is your chance to drink real beer instead of that watered-down, hyper-marketed swill! ;)! We serve SOL and DOS XX beer. Sol is a better choice for a lite beer drinker, while Dos xx has a stronger "beer bite"! Everyone else in this thread posted accurate info, so no worries amigo! Thanx kcdd, zydecocruiser, and Rasta Pirate!
