Half Moon Cay Question

We are booked on the Triumph for the July 6 sailing. We do not want to rent a cabana and was wondering what other shade options were available. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We were there last month and they still have clamshells for rent and this time I noticed that there is shade from some trees. We hit the beach and turned left toward the kids play area and there were some trees with nice shade and one (two actually) even had a hammock. If you do rent a clamshell raise it up in the back so it is resting on the corners of the lounges to let the breeze pass thru.

As I recall, there wasn't much shade on the beach itself. There were a few trees between the cabanas. You can rent a "clam shell" which gives some protection to the upper body. If you search pictures of half moon cay you'll see the blue clam shells over the lounge chairs. If I remember correctly these were around $20. to rent.
