Luggage tags

Recommended Posts

Gaah! We drive to Mobile tomorrow, sail on Saturday and I just thought of this...Do luggage tags need to be printed in color or are they ok in black and white?

Thanks :D

That is a good question. I'm not so sure they are color coded per deck. I can't recall seeing anyone with different colors.

I guess as long as you have your name and cabin # on them it should be fine. Hopefully someone else will jump on and chime in but I do not remember different colors.

Word of caution, make sure you do something with the tags when you print them, put them in laminating sheets or some type of stiff clear tape so they don't tear on you.

You do not have to print in color. They only have two colors pink and blue. They colors are just forward and aft. Many others here have reported using black and white/grey.

I do print my info on a sheet of label that I take. Than if you need to put on labels at port and the ones at the end of the cruise you can just stick a lable on.

+1 on covering the tags with tape or laminating, I used packing tape and that worked great. If you have enough time, make some tags with your name and cell phone number (if you have one) and you room number. Just a little extra insurance incase the room tags get torn off.
