CLATHEN Posted May 26, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 26, 2008 I'll be cruising on Enchantment in October and I know my other won't want to wear a suit and tie to dinner so I was thinking we'd do Chops on formal night. Does formal night apply to the specialty restaurants as well?
cb at sea Posted May 26, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 26, 2008 No--those restaurants are "smart casual" all the time!

Hypo Posted May 26, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 26, 2008 Although I always wear a suit for formal nights, with the way the airlines are going with luggage, that is about to change. You can go to formal nights without a suit or tux, many do, and as long as you are dressed nicely, you wont be turned away. I have even seen guys in the dining room on formal night in jeans or bib overalls!!:D Go and enjoy. Hypo
CLATHEN Posted May 26, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted May 26, 2008 Thanks for the replies. I know I can get him to pack a linen suit but anything fancier than that will be pushin it ;) !
