Wine Package in Stateroom?

Ok, we are NOT trying to smuggle alcohol onboard (I don't want to stir up anything here). We do enjoy having a couple of glasses of wine on our balcony before dinner. Is it possible to purchase a wine package and have bottles delivered to the stateroom?

....... though If you would like wine in your stateroom you could order from th wine cellar collection and select the day you'd likke it delivered

If you find the selections limited or don't want a full package, you can also order off the full wine list, during the hours that the dining room is open (the room service menu also has a very limited selection). Or you can get an extra bottle while you're at dinner and bring it back to your cabin (opened or otherwise), or stop by one of the bars that has wine by the bottle and get one to take back.

 

The possibilities are endless.:)

We were on Legend of the Seas in April 2008 and purchased a wine package. The discounted package is offered as part of the dining room food service and was available for us to have delivered to our room only if we made the request through our waiter or requested room service to deliver it during dining room hours. It was explained to us that the dining room inventory is separate from the room service operations and that room service could deliver it from the dining room stock and reduce our remaining bottle balance, during regular dining room hours, else it would be charged at regular pricing. We usually ordered the evening before so we would have the bottle of wine on hand for pre dinner drinks the next evening. Hope this helps.
