California Ports? Carnival Pride?

Has anyone sailed out of California in march? I have always sailed out of Florida and its always warm and sunny. I have heard that California can be a bit cooler?

Also is there a band on the Pride? We were on the Miracle in Feb. 08 and there was a band, but they didnt play much! And with the seperation of pools you couldnt really hear them.

Thanks

You will definitely find it very cool (and probably somewhat overcast) for the first day out of SoCal and the last day back in. The further south you go (once to Cabo and beyond) it gets warmer and humid.

We just did that crusie this pasy march...it was pretty cold and blustery on the sea days coming and going but once you get near cabo it was fantastic....loved the pride, had a good check in experience with long beach, would do it again in a heartbeat
