Excursions in Denali

Can anyone recommend any independent tours or tour operators from McKinley Princess hotel. Princess are offering their tours but there are normally cheaper and better tours from independent operators. Thanks.

You are aware, the McKinley Lodge is 100 miles from Denali National Park??? This lodge is out in the middle of nowhere with the nearest town, Talkeetna 50 miles away. There are essentially no activites at the lodge except some hiking. The most popular option, in my opinion, is McKinley flightseeing out of Talkeetna. Requires good planning with cruisetour people. You do not want to be making the trip back and forth no more than you have to. There are some float trips, which in my opinion, were so so for me.

We are staying at Princess McKinley Lodge and Robert will pick us up at the lodge for a 1/2 or full day of fishing.:) His prices are really reasonable.
