Pick up at port of Miami

Can someone drive to the port and pick you up? I know going into the ports we have to show tickets. What would someone picking you up need? And how close to the ship and garage will they be able to go? In other words how far would we have to walk with our luggage? We have family there.

I really can not say about pick up in Miami, but my father in law lives near port carnavel, and 2 times already has picked us up, and he comes right where the porters are, so its right up front, I would go to the website for Port carneral and read on there about pick up and drop off. and on the funpass it askes about options for traveling and one is private car, so I think they would be fine picking you up.

I've cruised in and out of the Port of Miami several times and have seen private vehicles pick up cruisers. They were allowed to go exactly where the Taxis were. I don't think you'll have any problem at all.

We sailed on the Valor in April and live in south Florida so we had someone drop us off at the Port of Miami as well as pick us up and it was no problem at all...dropped off right in front of Carnival's terminal and picked up at the same place!!:)

Yes. We've had a driver drop us off and pick us up for all of our cruises out of Miami. We called our driver (already arranged) from the ship right before we debarked.
