Ketchikan Excursion Help

We will be in Ketchikan from 7 am to 1 pm and are having trouble deciding what to do! We would both like to see the Deadliest Catch tour but also want to see some totem poles and Creek street? Is there time for all of this? The tour would be from 8 to 11:30 leaving us an hour and a half to get back to the ship.

Is it possible to catch both in that little time frame?

We are also going to Sitka and Juneau, are there totem pole areas to see there as well? Are they not as good as Ketchikan? Thanks in advance.

Well you can't do it all. It is possible for a fast look at the many many Ketchikan totems.

Sitka also has several at the Sitka, National Park. A few in Juneau (very nice one in front of the governor's house) :)

It would be an easy walk to Creek Street after your tour. An hour and a half would be plenty of time to browse a little there. The Deadliest Catch tours leave from the dock where the ships tie up, so it is close by.

I would see totems in Sitka. Sitka is a very walkable town. You can stop at an aquarium at the college on the way to totem national park. Stop by the park and ask for a booklet that tells about the totems. The park is beautiful (as is the walk there). It has a wide, flat trail. If you exit the park on the other side and walk a short way, you can also see the Raptor Center which is very interesting. Sitka is my favorite port.
