Airport to Ship Creek hotel

How difficult is it to get from the Anchorage airport to the shipcreek hotel? Half of our group is coming in late. I understand the hotel has a shuttle. Is this difficult to get or should I advise them just to take a cab?

We have 2 days in Anchrage after our cruise, going to Girdwood for a Glacier Jet Boat excursion. Want to spend time at the Native Heritage Museum as well. Thaough we'd drive the Ship Creek area after picking up our rental car at noon. Find a place for lunch, then head to our hotel, Diamond Center late afternoon. Worth the drive? And how about lunch?

Misha, we'll be staying at the Comfort Inn Ship Creek next week. We'll be arriving mid-afternoon. When I called the hotel directly to ask about the shuttle, the desk clerk was very pleasant and assured me that the shuttle would pick us up. She advised us to call the hotel on our arrival (907-277-6887) and that if the shuttle was already there, we'd be instructed on how/where to meet it, and if not, then if would be there in 15-20 minutes.

 

I realize this doesn't address your late-night arrivals, you could still call the hotel directly and ask about that.

Thanks for the info about the shuttle. We will be arriving in Anchorage and staying at Ship's Creek Comfort in July. Hope they will meet us.

I called. They said if the shuttle isn't just there to call either the hotel number or that there is a courtesy telephone near baggage. 24 hour service
