entertainment on the diamond

I know wildlife and glacier watching is the main focus of an alaska cruise, but can anyone tell me about the entertainment? what did you enjoy or recommend we stay away from. All the review and info on this board is great, but there is very little comment of the entertainment in the evening. surely someone has tried one of the shows?? thanks for the info!

There were a couple of shows that we had seen before - so we never went on our last Diamond cruise.

We cruised with a group of friends so dinner with them was our entertainment most nights.

They have a show in the main theatre and then something going on in the smaller lounges too, comedy acts, princess idol, the newly wed/not so newly wed games etc.

we were on the 5/31 southbound Diamond....very good entertainment in the main theatre....... a good comedian and 3 music/dance shows that were very well done....... mostly 50's / 60's music. One show featured mostly Elton John and Neil Diamond music.

If you head to the Princess Theater for a show, go there at least 30 minutes early for the best choice of seats. :)
