Monarch - Refurb?

Does anyone know if Monarch is going to be refurbished prior to home porting in Port Canaveral, like the two other Sovereign-class ships?

She'll have a drydock, and the hotel director did say they were going be upgrading the Jade Sushi restaurant, but I don't know what, if anything, else is planned. We're on this weekend - I'll ask if the opportunity arises.

I think she is scheduled for drydock the first week of November. Some other members of the Monarch Fan Club will probably know for sure.

Actually, Monarch got a major redo a few years back so I doubt it will get another full makeover.

Like mentioned above...she did get a major overlay a couple years ago and really I am not sure what major projects would need to be done...for a ship her age I still think she's in good shape. Renovations to outlets on the ship, like Jade will likely be the biggest revamps in the upcoming dry dock

Thanks for all the info! I wasn't sure when/if she had a refurb. We sailed her in 2006 and absolutely loved her and her itinerary. We're going on her once more before she comes east and I'm just really excited to be back on board. Yay!
