Upgrade Question

If specific rooms were booked is there a possibility they would be upgraded ? We have booked rooms next to each other for a family cruise and would not be happy cruisers if separated. Thanks in advance !

call carnival and ask them not to upgrade.

Its happened, or they try and upgrade you without your permission if you have a 9A aft wrap they want because its a high demand cabin.

 

For a regular cabin, its very very rare.

we selected specific rooms in order to be side by side. somehow, we were upgraded 3 decks - still interior rooms, though. at first, i had logged onto carnival & one room had changed. i contacted my ta immediately. she says it was a mistake on carnival's part, so they upgraded the 2nd room & we are now next door to each other again. i've cruised 2 other times, booking the same way & have never gotten any type of upgrade. so, i think it was just a fluke.
