Lifeboat Drill

When you first arrive in your cabin there is usually a video playing on the TV set explaining the safety issues on board and emergency procedures (including the lifeboat drill). Early during the first evening an anncouncement will be made and the ships sieren sounded and you will have to take your lifejacket from your cabin and go to your muster station, details of which are usually posted on the back of your cabin door. All that is involved is listening to a safety announcement made by the captain. The crew demonstate how to put on the lifejacket, passengers are then asked to put on theirs, so the crew can check that everyone knows how to put it on correctly, then you are free to go. Whole thing takes about 20 mins.
