Do you get anything for being Gold?

It's been awhile (1995) since I cruised but I do have Gold status with 3 cruise credits. What benefits do you get for being Gold?

I believe you get a small gift, as well as an invite to a welcome back cocktail party. You also get a coupon book good for some discounts in the spa and such.

At the gold level the best 'perk' is probably to enjoy a few free drinks at the Captain's Club party.

There are definitely a few perks, mostly with the coupon book. I know there was a free wine tasting, Johnny Rockets discount...random goodies. You also get a nice tote bag. :)

We are gold members and were on the Explorer in May. we got C&A Baseball caps as our small gift. The Johnny Rockets coupon was for one "no service charge" visit ($3.95 savings).

The Captains welcome aboard party is the 1st Formal night... this is for everyone...the repeat cruiser's party is held at different times.. and are only on cruises of 7 nights or longer...although once you hit Platinum you get a special party no matter how long your cruise....:D
