Best way to get from Rome hotel to ship?

First of all ask at the reception desk, they can hook you up with a cab or limo company. Maybe off your roll call you might ask around on there and possibly share a ride of somekind with someone. I'm not one for this but you can look into train and/or bus schedules also. FYI it's about an hour and 15 min. ride (just did it 2 weeks ago).

Good luck e CIAO, ;)

There is also the train option, that's the cheapest way but it involves more work. On the Europe board there are lots of threads on this discussion if you want some ideas of the companies that people have used.

Could you please direct me to the Europe Board?

Thanks,

Carolyn

Stay at the hotel and go back to the Airport for the Oceania transfer.

The Sheraton Roma will pick you up and return you to the airport to grab the Oceania Transfer. They also have a shuttle service for their guests to the Spanish Steps.

That said, if you can find someone on your roll call to share with, it will cost you less. We just did that from Dover to Heathrow and had a Mercedes van for four for less than the Oceania Bus.

You might be able to arrange a shared ride with others on the roll call. We shared a van with 5 other couples for our trip from Rome to the boat May 19th. Owner, Melaragno Remo, www.driverinrome.com did a great job of gettting all of us and our luggage to the boat. Good luck and enjoy your cruise.
