Great news for Saint Johners and cruise ship passengers visiting Saint John.

 

Irving Oil announced they are planning on building their world headquarters at Long Wharf in Saint John. This development will also include docking facilities, reception area and a bus station for cruise ship passengers. Long Wharf is Saint John's second cruise ship docking area in addition the the newly constructed Pugsley Terminal.

In a few year's time we just won't recognize our waterfront with all the exciting new plans. I am looking forward to seeing the artistic conceptions for the revamping of Reversing Falls Park. I have thought for years that that area needed something drastic done to it and now it seems it will happen. With all the money they plan to spend on the park I can foresee an admission charge in the future.
