Baie Rouge or Pelican Beach for snorkeling?

We have been to Orient Beach a dozen times. Love it!

This year, I'm thinking of going to a different beach.

We love to snorkel.

Heard that Baie Rouge and Pelican Beach are both good for snorkeling.

Which one would your suggest?

How far from cruise ship pier?

Can you rent chairs and umbrellas?

Or would you suggest Mullet Bay Beach?

We snorkeled at Mullet bay beach last Friday and it was very calm with some decent snorkeling. We saw several different kinds of fish from a couple of inches to a couple of feet long in length. As you enter the beach we snorkeled to the left by the rocks. We went to Baie Rouge on Sunday and the swells made it a workout to swim never mind snorkel.

We are going to be on CB in december and I was wondering how you went about getting the permenant dining arrangement? Was your reservation for traditional or anytime when you booked your cruise? Just wondering how to proceed if we wanted same time same spot each night? thanks
