We will be in Cozumel in 2 weeks. :) We are sailing on the Fascination and am wondering if we will dock there for the day or have to tender in. Anyone recently on this ship that would know?

Thanks

We tendered in January. Not sure if that is always the case.

There are two docks, one downtown and one at the other end of the island. There are no tenders.

Not true on both statements. There are no cruise ship docks on the other end of the island. The furthest pier is about midway down the island right past the traffic light and gas station. If there are more than four ships in port, the other ships will have to tender.

Docks in Cozumel

Fiscal pier (passenger ferry pier at the flag pole downtown. Also used for tendering)

Punta Langosta pier (across from C&C and Senor Frogs. Also used for tendering)

International pier (before you get to the traffic light. Also used for tendering)

Vehicle ferry pier (part of the Internation pier)

Puerta Maya pier (Carnival's pier which is still being re-constructed. Right past the traffic light. Should be reopening soon)

This is their slow season so you should be docking at either the Punta Langosta or the International pier.

Go to cozumelinsider a week before you leave to find out which port you will be docking. If there are more than 4 ships already in port, you will tender. We tendered back in March--getting off was a pain--getting back was a breeze.

Have fun!!
