Lois: I sooo enjoyed reading your review and in fact read it twice!!! As I think I told you I flew out to LA last year for a week on the Crystal Harmony. I got such a fabulous deal that I could not pass it up! Out of 30+ cruises this was my first solo and I met so many fun people. I will definitely do a solo again. Now........will you [B]really[/B] hold out till the Horizon?

Hi Nanci...I have to wait...that week is my last week of vacation. I cannot take more time off.....or I won't be paid.
I took this cruise rather than waiting till May...September is my last week off in 2004.

Lois, thanks again for the pictures! As I told you in my e-mails, you looked awesome and Phil a a real cutie! (Not as cute as my DH, just in case he is reading this).

Please kee us posted on your 2005 schedule. I notice that all of the group cruises on Cruise Critics seem to be Carnival or RCCL. I have never seen one done for Celebrity, but there is a big enough group on here that we might be able to do it!

Great review of the Mercury. I know you will also like the Horizon. I know I am really starting to get excited about the Summit in July. Thanks again for your wonderful review. I knew you would like the Mercury. However, you are right there is something special about the Century.

I "see" that kastaway ken broke a golden rule of the cruise!....."if it happens on the ship, it stays on the ship"....(unless it is a real juicy story). I want to know more about the lady who was really a man.

Lois, enjoyed all of the installments of the cruise. I guess we can put the cruise behind us but we still have the memories to dwell on untill we get charged for the next one. As I said before, I guess some of us just have a "cruise gene" in our DNA and discover it when we get on a ship for the first time. It is such a wonderful way to meet and talk with people. I will be on Amtark for 3 days next week, the next best thing to a cruise ship!

We haven't made any 05 decisions, I wrote you in another thread, want to talk to my Brother (the single one...hint hint) about going together BUT we are leaning towards Alaska, hawaii or the Panama canal.

Hi Dancing Gal. Nice to hear from you again. We are doing fine and still sailing Celebrity as often as we can afford.

As Lois said she sailed the week after us. We tried to get her to join us as we knew she would be a great cruise buddy but unfortunately she declined. We had a really nice CC group. We were on the Mar 13 cruise. Have you been on Mercury before? I was afraid I might be disappointed after Infinity and Summit but we really enjoyed Mercury. It is a beautiful ship. Service and food were great.

Do you have a roll call going for your cruise? If so I will check it out.

Nancy can you believe that exactly one year ago we had already had our first hukilau lesson and we were getting ready for the second leg of our back to back. A year has gone so quickly and that was my favorite cruise. Didn't you go to Alaska last summer. We went on Summit on Alaska and Pacific Coast cruise last Sept. Are any of your regular cruis buddies sailing the Merc with you.

Since you and Lois sail single you two should get together for a cruise. Save some money and could have a great time.

To all of you posters Nancy is a very social gal too and as the name implies she loves to dance. And she knows so many of the ships staff that it is like a family reunion when she sails.

Hi ya'll...CAT...have you ever seen a woman that was not "FEMININE".....dressed nice, in a nice oufit..but no "feminity".

We were in Michael's Club...Phil, Lisa Ken and Myself. The 2 guys were smoking cigars..and the 4 of us were having drinks.

2 women were sitting next to us....and when they left..I made a comment about her...she was a woman....but in my opinion...lets just say her features were more masculine than feminie....

I wasn't trying to be judgemental..because I really don't care. It was late in the evening and the 2 gals were smoking their cigars and stuff...I know..its the "In thing" for women...
So..that is the story. Nothing bad...nothing good..just a story.

Have been busy trying to book our next cruise, the cruise part was fairly easy, the hard part was getting flights where I could utilize our Sky Miles.

What a pain in the *** that is. but I think I have it handled. trans atlantic on the galaxie, Rome to Baltimore

But If I change my mind, look out mercury in Nov.
