PBS series about Alaska

On our local PBS station (from Sacramento) Huell Howser is doing a week in Alaska. Last night was Glacier Bay and this afternoon was Skagway. His voice irritates the heck out of me, but they are interesting programs. Check your local listing.

I have the same PBS station as you do and yes I did see Glacier Bay last nite but gosh I missed skagway. Oh well. Been there a few times.

I saw the one on Skagway and the last part of the one on the White Pass Railroad. Stumbled upon them and wished I'd known they were on. His voice annoys the heck out of me too. He came to my work to do a story on the "zamboni" a couple of years ago and everyone was "ga-ga" over him...not me, even though he does some interesting stories.

I tried to find this program, but, no luck. Do you remember the name of the program??? I can look it up that way.

It looks like at least in my area, the Glacier Bay part will be shown again tonight at 7pm. I missed that one so I'm looking forward to seeing it this time. Don't know if they're repeating anymore episodes also or not.
