Need Help Posting Pics on CC

Recommended Posts

Ok, I've tried and tried to post pics using the paper clip icon or image insertion (mountain icon above)and am not having any luck. My regular pics are too large, so I downsized them to meet CC guidelines and all I can get is this size. I also downloaded about 100 pics this morning using PhotoBucket, thinking that maybe that would be the way to go, but NO, CC's file attachment system didn't like any of the PhotoBucket image posting links......can anyone give me some suggestions?:(

Its easy with Photobucket. Under your photos in your album there are 4 codes for your pic. Click on the box next to "image code." That will copy the html. Then just paste into the response box here. Here is the code you want to see in the post here. The 9s I have put at the beginning and end of the code should be brackets [ ]

Well, I figured it out. Upload your pics on Photo Bucket, choose "edit", then "resize" and fill in your dimensions. Copy the "IMG" url code and paste in right into the "message box". My pics were coming in either too small or too big, so I used the resize method in the edit area.

Thanks for your help:)

Hi there!

Trying to figure this out!!

Marcy it's not difficult

especially for you and I who already have a sizeable 'built-in' stash of pics right here on the CC Photo Gallery!

Before posting, go to the CC Photo Gallery page of the picture you want to post up here all big and impressive.

Getting down near the bottom of the individual photo-display page, you'll see Direct link:

and it'll be something like... http://pictures.cruisecritic.com/data/etc.etc.jpg

Copy that link to your clipboard before you make your post here.

THEN post that in,here on the forum

making it work Big by placing it between a pair of simple html commands which are.. b] and [b]

Any photo Direct link in between those commands(without spaces)

will show as a picture rather than the text command you've typed in.

So you'll put together something like(this ain't real, but will illustrate)

OMG I hope it doesn't bring up some crazy ETC image from somewhere!!

Good timing,btw...waiting for that gull to get to just the right spot.

I do that a lot with 'multiple ship' shots
