Breathtaking view! As we sailed away from St Thomas last week on the Mariner we were eating up in the Windjammer. I can't say how beautiful all the twinkeling white lights on the island were!! As the next island is so close we sailed very slowly and the lights were visable for a while ( port side and rear) .

We were also very impressed with the Windjammer at night, the dimmed the lights nad had tablecovers on the tables along with tea...........very relaxing after a long hot day.

Agreed that Charlotte Amalie is a ~gorgeous~ port by night! The only time I saw it that way was when we left port one day, but had to return some time during the night for a medical emergency. I awoke and looked out when I felt the ship stop, and WHAT A SIGHT!!!

And BTW, the view from the top of Paradise Point is another to-die-for experience. :D

I agree with you both, especially from the view point at the top of Paradise Point. I recommend taking the Tram, at least once to see the view. You will get some great pictures also.:)
