Sunset beach/ ocho rios?

We'll be in Ocho Rios on the Mariner next month... how far is Sunset Beach from the port there.... I keep reading about Mo Bay, but not OR - is it too far? If so, where is another great beach close to OR?

We were there last May when we went on the Mariner. It was only around 10 minutes from the pier. We had a really good time there.

Ocho Rios and Montego Bay are not very close. I want to say it's about 1 1/2 hours between the two cities.

 

Sunset Beach resort is located in Montego Bay. However, there is also a Sunset Jamaica Grande resort in Ocho Rios. It's kind of confusing! I hope that helps.

Also, (I had this info & lost it) how much are the adult & child passes here? What age is considered "adult"?

It was a 10 minute cab ride. Don't think I would want to walk there. I don't know what the price is for kids. I had my 21 year old dd and 19 year old ds with me. It was $40 for each of us. We had a really nice time there.

Thanks! Just an FYI, I contacted them & they recently got back to me w/ this info. Looks like they just raised prices a bit...
