pboedeker Posted July 15, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 15, 2008 Has anyone ever had flowers delivered to a cabin of a ship in port in Galveston? If so, which florist?
firefly333 Posted July 15, 2008 #2 Share Posted July 15, 2008 Nope, my cruisemate's hubby used the ship's bon voyage department to order a dozen roses though and they were gorgeous. That was on Princess.
pboedeker Posted July 16, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted July 16, 2008 We're taking our family over Christmas on the Voyager and I would like to have a poinsettia delivered to my mom's cabin. They don't order poinsettias through the cruiseline.
bar_20 Posted July 16, 2008 #4 Share Posted July 16, 2008 Order it through the cruise line you are going on. Check their website and you can order directly from them. http://www.carnival.com/BonVoyage/Default.aspx?cat=Flowers
satxdiver Posted July 16, 2008 #5 Share Posted July 16, 2008 In answer to the op's question, no we have not. We have ordered flowers in our room from the cruise line (RCI and Princess). There may be a problem in allowing outside flowers aboard from a third party florist. I do know that you cannot take the flowers off the ship when you return to port (USA regulations). Once the flowers are aboard, they stay aboard.
