HELP baltic tipping & currency

Recommended Posts

Am on the Eurodam for the 25 day Baltic/Transatlantic sailing and need to know if the American $ is acceptable for tipping and purchases. If not, is the Euro acceptable. Also typically how much typically to tip bus drivers and waiters.

How much do you tip the porters at Copenhagen airport? Any help greatly appreciated. Gary & Jane

There's been quite a bit of discussion on currency in the Baltics. Here's a link that should help: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=739229

As for tipping, well that's a "hot topic" & there are many threads on it as well. But the discussion usually ends with the advice that tipping is personal & it's up to you to decide what you feel the service is worth.
