For the 13 night cruise on May 11, 2009, which side of the ship will be better? It looks to me like the starboard would. Itinerary is LA to Vancouver.

 

Regarding Sky Suites, which is better? The ones with the huge balcony or the ones with a private, more covered balcony?

 

Does the Sky suite really offer a better deal than the Concierge Class?

If you can get one of the 12th deck (Sky Deck ) Sky Suites, grab it. They're great with the HUGE balcony !!!( and the balcony is partially covered which gives you the best of both worlds) And the location is good too. As far as which side, we were on the port side and loved it, but we are on a round-trip out of Seattle.

Mama, Thanks for the recommendation. We were able to book a suite on Deck 12 so we should see plenty of Alaska!

I would go Sky Suite but on the starboard side for your itinerary, it is the land side and the side with the most scenery potential.
