pre cruise docs?

Just recieved a large envelope titled pre cruise documents. A brochure/booklet and a paper list of shore excursions and a copy of the cruise contract. No boarding passes or cabin numbers, tickets or anything. Is there still an envelope to come? Does princess send these out all the time? First time on princess. Thanks in advance. Dennis

You should get your actual tickets and luggage tags a few weeks before sailing.

Yes, you will get a second envelope that will have your boarding documents and luggage tags. If you get your excursion paperwork sent in or submitted online that info will also be in your ticket packet.

You received "the pre-cruise docs". The real cruise docs and luggage tags arrive 2-4 weeks before sailing.

Thank you all so much for your immediate response! We have cruised Celebrity, HAL and Carnival before and just recieved the one packet with our documents. Some were even the faux leather bound! 53 days and counting. Can't wait to try Princess.

Just a warning - the plastic ticket case that comes with Princess' documents most likely will not impress you :)
