Hi all,

At 4th of December 2008 I am going on my first Silversea cruise. I know there are 3 diferent dresscodes and am curious to know what do men and ladies wear in informal night.and if men can wear a suit or a jacket 2 times. I hope so otherwise packing and flying will be a disaster:rolleyes: . Hope you can give me a few ideas for this item.

Thank you

Maria

One of the things men can do is pack a dark suit, a couple of different coloured/patterned shirts and a black bow tie. On formal nights, wear that suit with white shirt and black bow tie. On informal nights, wear the same suit (with a different pair of pants if you so choose), with your other shirts, and no tie (or a lighter coloured ordinary tie). Then it should be good enough. For ladies, the choices are very wide.

I take a blue sport blazer--you can up or down depending on what you wear with it--covers a lot of ground--also take a tux with all the stuff you need with it. I have no problem packing in less than 40 pounds--I also take plenty for daytime wear. Don
