Preferred method of transfer from MIA Airport to terminal??

What is your preferred transfer from the MIA airport to the cruise terminal??

 

I am heading into Miami the night before so I can not get Carnivals tranfers except for the day of departure. I will have to rely on cabs otherwise.

I have used a cab and also used the Alamo shuttle from the airport when we rented a car. Both worked out very well.

I recommend a cab. You can leave right away, no waiting for the bus to fill. It's just nicer all the way around.

Cabs are usually the cheapest and fastest way to go for most ports.

Cabs in Miami can only charge a fixed amount from the airport to the port. A very good deal for a family. Much cheaper than the Carnival shuttle

Cabs in Miami are inexpensive. If you are arriving the night before, and can swing it stay somewhere downtown. The cab ride is about $25 to the hotel and then about $5 - 8 to the pier. If there are two of you that is as cheap as the shuttles which are about $12 - $15 pp.

I haven't done a cruiseline shuttle in Miami, but have done one at Port Canaveral and hated the hanging around...

 

With a cab you just "get in and go": quite, efficient, no hanging around and not too expensive either.

My vote is also for a cab. They are just so easy. Fix rate, no waiting. Have never had a problem.
