I just got off the Sapphire on 5/2/09 and Wavelength was performing. This was my first time to see them perform and hopefully not the last.:) They have a myspace page Wavelength Roxx, no website, darn. I think they have quite a following. Girls for sure, but guys too. They are very talented. I spoke to them and as a group of 4 they have been together about 1 year. I think 2 of the guys have been together longer. Hope to see them on land sometime, they do have an agent, but they prefer just playing music and doing what they do.

I'm cruising this Saturday on the Sapphire and I'll FINALLY get to see their live Rock Show. I can't wait! :D

 

Enjoy the ship and crew. Say hello to Wavelength, we absolutely thought they were fantastic. Say hello to them from The Santa Clarita gals friends from Arizona. We enjoyed all Wavelengths shows, saw them every time they performed on our cruise.:)

I was on the Sapphire the week before you and totally enjoyed Wavelength too! We hung out with a couple of the guys the last two nights. I just sent them a message on myspace about them having a fan base in Arizona and they need to come here! LOL!!!

I hope you have a blast! Wavelength's Rock Show was one of the many things I will NEVER forget from that cruise!!! If you have a chance and remember, tell Rich that Debby says hi and still wants to keep in touch!!!

Yes,DebbyCruiser we need to have them come play at one of the Native American casinos around the Phoenix area, we would be there along with all recruits. We can send them(Wavelength) a myspace message to come to AZ to perform.:)

this is crusinsue and me and my two cousins were on the CP last August and went to see Wavelength whenever they were performing they also did a concert which was awesome we are cruising CP August 13,2009 and are hoping they will be on board again they had a packed house all the time ;)

Hey everyone,

Just off the Sapphire, back home in Vancouver and Wavelength were AWESOME!!! The cruise itself had an "older" crowd on board so unfortunately the lounges weren't nearly as full as they had been on previous cruises, as I was told by the guys. Unfortunately, Rich was out for a few days with laryngitis/bad sore throat so Chris & Phil stepped up and kept the nights rolling. They were lucky to get half full lounges which was a shame but not only did I get to see their Rock Show for the first time, I got to see it twice! They played for the crew the night before (I have a bit of an "in" ;)) so got to see that as well. Lots of fun! Rich was able to start singing again about Wed. or Thurs. night and by the concert last night they were pretty much going full speed ahead. Was great to see them again, they're looking tighter and tighter. Oh and they all talked about the Arizona/Princess girls who cruised prior. Big hello's out to all of you! :)

Arizonperson ~ I love your pic with Chris and Rich!! It was Rich that we mainly hung out with and laughed endlessly with....would love to see any more pics that you have? Did you post them on MySpace?

Yes I took lots. I tagged them in a bunch of photos that are on MySpace, in their tagged photo album. Enjoy! ;)

Debbycruiser- yes we had our photo taken with all 4 of the Wavelength "guys". I only posted the photos on my space for friends and I don't have many friends. I signed up for my first myspace page when that was the only way to see what Wavelength was up to next. I thought when Scott gave me the wavelengthroxx, that it was a website. Yes, my friend that went on the cruise with me and I may want to join you in that run- away to Canada this summer to hear the band play.

I told my husband he would enjoy listening to them as well.:)

Maybe someday Wavelength will come to AZ to play.

Wavelength was the best live music I have seen on Princess.

Princess please book them on a ship soon so I can plan my next cruise.:)

Does anyone know who at Princess to contact so we can have the Canadian guys Wavelength booked on a Princess cruise soon, we miss them. I e-mailed the general Princess site to see whom to get a hold of but no answer as of yet.

My next cruise is too late for the band Wavelength to book them, but I want to plan my next cruise with them in mind.

Hi Arizonaperson! I have checked out Wavelength's myspace page but I have not signed up on myspace so I can't post on there (I don't think). I keep checking the page to see where they are playing next.

 

I also wrote to Princess regarding Wavelength and how much we enjoyed them. I hope they are listening to us.

 

I keep hoping I'll see they've signed on to the Ruby for my November cruise but nothing yet. I take it there was some sort of contractual dispute with Princess which hopefully they will get resolved so we can see them again back onboard.

 

Keep posting if you get any new info! Thanks! Enjoy your cruise in the next few weeks:):)!

I hope they come back to Princess. As a musician, I can appreciate a good band. Ive sailed on many cruises but when I sailed on the Carribean Princess and Wavelength was playing, it made that particular cruise stand out as the best!!! They rocked and I loved it. I also loved that I was able to jam with them.

Well rumor has it Wavelength will be joining the NCL Pearl at the end of April and doing Alaska all summer. Seems they're having a hard time getting anything out of Princess for some reason!?!? Who ELSE does a LIVE ROCK SHOW on a ship? Sheesh... :cool:

Geeez...Princess needs to wake up.

 

Cruising Alaska is not gonna be the same kind of crowd they would get like when they debark out of NYC on the Carribean Princess. Every night the lounge was packed for Wavelength.

 

I hope they come back to any line for that matter that debarks out of NYC. I would book it just because they were on it.

 

There is nothing like a good band that plays great classic rock. Wavelength are very talented musicians.
