Buying Wine in NYC

We will be staying at the Belvedere Hotel in NYC pre-cruise next month. Can anyone tell us where we can buy wine close by. We would like to take a bottle or two with us.

I should be more specific in what I am asking I think. In Toronto where I live to buy wine I need to go to a wine store or liquour store. In NY I know that beer can be bought in corner stores but can I buy wine there or are there special stores for wine and alchol?

IN NYC wine is sold only in liquor stores. With that said you should be able to find one within a few blocks of your hotel. Just ask at the desk when you check in.
