Beaches and water clarity

Looking for information regarding the Jamaica beaches. Is the water generally clearer in the Montego Bay area or in Negril?

Steve, I have only been to Rose Hall beach near MO Bay which is now owned by the Ritz. It was beautiful and crystal clear. Weather conditions seem to cloud up the water with storms at sea, so this may vary. I have not stopped in Negril. The water at the beach at Dunn's River Falls (Ochio Rios side) was beautiful too, but we didn't go in. We are going to Mahogany beach in 2 weeks.
