39august Posted October 21, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 21, 2004 It's been a year since I've been on Princess and I can't remember if they offer a wine package for a bit of a savings over buying each night for dinner. Is this an option? At any rate, I know the wines are more reasonably priced on Princess than on RCI!
fivebucs Posted October 22, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 22, 2004 Take your own exspensive wine and pay $10 corkage or buy the wines they sell and pay nothing. sb
busybusybusy Posted October 23, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 23, 2004 They don't offer a package per se, but we took both of the wine courses and bought wines then at a discount for dinner. You don't save a whole lot, but it was really fun, and we got to sample wines we never could have afforded (Opus I!). :D
39august Posted October 24, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted October 24, 2004 busybusybusy-That would be at the Concierge(sp) wine tasting? Is that $25pp? How did you find out about it? I remember nothing about it on last year's Golden, but a friend insisted she got to taste Opus 1 on that cruise. I never did see anything announcing this wine tasting so we missed it. bardgal Posted October 24, 2004 #5 Share Posted October 24, 2004 The Princess wine list is very resonable, so I've never been tempted to pay the $10 corkage.
