Twickenham, help for l'Initiale restaurant info

l'Initiale Restaurant I followed one of the links for l'Initiale and found a reservation form. Would you suggest a reservation for a Saturday night or would we be able to dine early, like when they open at 6pm without a reservation?

And dress code! What is the dress code for that particular restaurant and the rest of the city. Here in Florida it is so casual!

Eeek! My name in a thread title! I feel so famous... :D

 

You might be able to get in at 6pm, but Quebec restaurants are usually quite busy on Saturday night, so I think a reservation is probably wise. I actually usually go for lunch, and I can confirm that no reservation is needed then, at least during the week.

 

As for dress code, Quebec isn't that formal. Certainly you won't be out of place if you dress up a bit - and I personally wouldn't wear jeans or a t-shirt - but casual should be fine. The maître d' is the co-owner, and very welcoming - have a great time!
