Sue's Mom Posted August 15, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2008 Well that's it really. We are cruising Canada and New England in October but the question applies to any port.
cf_chuck Posted August 15, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2008 Well that's it really. We are cruising Canada and New England in October but the question applies to any port. Go to the HAL site and find the cruise you are or might be interested in. Click on the details and you will see a designation TR beside the port for Tender Required. Click on the details and you will see a designation TR beside the port for Tender Required. Thank you. It would appear that there are no tendering ports on our cruise, which surprises me a little as I have read other posts in which people have mentioned tendering in some of the ports which we are visiting. Krazy Kruizers Posted August 15, 2008 #5 Share Posted August 15, 2008 I checked your schedule -- I am very surprised that Bar Harbor is not listed as a tender port. We have always tendered there -- there isn't a pier for a large ship to dock at.
Sue's Mom Posted August 15, 2008 Author #6 Share Posted August 15, 2008 Thanks KK. Tendering is not an issue - I just like to be in possession of all the facts.

In looking at other itineraries including Bar Harbor, the TR is listed for it.
sapper1 Posted August 15, 2008 #8 Share Posted August 15, 2008 Halifax, Saint John, Sydney and Quebec City are not tender ports. You will be docked. I don't think Charlottetown is a tender port but maybe someone from there can confirm for sure.
Krazy Kruizers Posted August 15, 2008 #9 Share Posted August 15, 2008 The new pier is complete -- Charlottetown -- now docking.
