Bottled Water/Wine question

Can you bring either of these aboard? I know that on Carnival you can bring a bottle of wine or champagne on at embarkation for "sail away" enjoyment. What's the policy on RCCL?:cool:

Hello Fellow Cruiser,

 

RCI allows you to bring bottled water on board but do not allow you to bring wine. DH and I brought a case of water and 2 12 packs of soda with us on our last cruise with no problems. We packed it in a separate suitcase and slapped a tag on it. As far as I know they have become very strict in bringing any alcoholic beverages on board. I hope this helps you.

 

We are planning on bringing our own water and soda this time because we dont care for the soda choices on board.

DW and I will be sailing on the EOS in 17 days, WOO-HOO!! Thanks for the info. Btw, I hear that the cabins on the ship that were added during the "stretch" has a shower door instead of the curtain. Know anything about this? Thanks again.

I wouldn't worry about bringing water--the ship's is more than fine!
