Nope. I always book a balcony room, which is exactly what I want and pay for.

 

Now, if they upgrade me, that's a whole different story. I'll take any balcony cabin if I don't have to pay for it.

Nope they wanted more more for an cat 11 to 12 than would have cost me in the first place to book a cat 12. No deal there.

I couldn't vote because the option of turning it down wasn't there.

 

I have turned down the upgrade calls as they are called but should be called upsell.

 

There was no bargain as the price would have worked out the same if I had booked that suite to begin with.

I didn't turn it down because its not in my budget. I turned it down because it wasn't a deal.

I second this! I can afford any room I want, I just choose to take the less expensive ones.

The one time they contacted me, and offered a supposedly better cabin, it was not what I would consider better, despite the higher catagory designation. So the answer was no. I wanted what I booked.

We took it! GUILTY! Not because it was an out-of-this-world deal, or that we didn't already love our balcony, but just because we haven't ever stayed in a suite before and it was actually cheaper than what the suites were going for when we booked. :) Looks like I'm the only one! HAHA.

Exactly why I checked No, its still not in my budget. I can afford more, I just select the cabin category I like. A FREE upgrade was not turned down in the past, but I'm always happy with my cabin category.
