I am arriving in Sydney, Nova Scotia on Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas on Aug. 30/08. We arrive at 1:00 p.m. and leave at 6:00 p.m. Would there be time to rent a car and drive over to Cape Breton? Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Sydney, Nova Scotia is located on Cape Breton Island. You will be there when you disembark.

We are on the Oct. 9 Explorer to Canada. Due to 3000+ people disembarking the ship at 1 p.m. and a 5:30 all-aboard - we booked "The Heart of the Island" tour through RCI. I would love to rent a car and drive the Cabot Trail, but the port time is too short for that.
