I found this site about 6 years ago and one of the first threads I read was about checking prices. Well I did that today for our December cruise and found Royal Caribbean was having a Residency Special for Illinois residents. I saved $140/$70 pp by calling. They dropped the price with no problems.

We never had a rate drop.....one of these days we will

I've been on six cruises so far, and just recently found this site. I too was able to take advantage of a price drop for our April '09 cruise as a result of information from the expert cruisers on this board. I just can't help but wonder how much I could have saved in the past had I know about checking for a price drop!
