Cinnamon Bay/St. John - Closed in September?

We will be in St. Thomas on September 3rd and were planning on venturing to St. John. We originally planned to visit Trunk Bay but have become interested in Cinnamon Bay, which we understand has the same amenities (beach store, restrooms, chairs, snack bar) as Trunk. However, we've discovered that the CB campground is closed for the month of September and were wondering if this affects the rest of the facilities at the beach. Will we still be able to rent chairs? Will the snack bar still be open? What other amenities are not available during the off-season?

We were there 2 years ago in Sept. and yes, it was closed, so no chairs and no snack bar. In fact, because of wave action from tropical storms out at sea, there was NO beach!!! We ended up going to Trunk Bay and it was beautiful!

I contacted the registration office, and I was told EVERYTHING at Cinnamon Bay is closed, including the snack bar, chair rentals and sports equipment rentals (in September). You can contact them for verification at 340-776-6330.
