size of balcony

is there much difference between a regular balcony and an extended one? thanks

An extended balcony is twice as deep, so its has twice the s.f. (at least on conquest) you didnt say which ship

If you are talking about the ones that are sold as extended balconies on the Spirit class they are 2ft. deeper........

On the Miracle (spirit class ship) the extended balcony was awsome compared to the regular balcony..I am spoiled now!

Iv heard on the Conquest you pretty much have to turn your chair sideways if you stick out your legs far and are very tall. Im leggy. (speaking of regular balconys)

 

the extended balconys give you a way to stretch out your legs and slouch on your balcony.

I am currently booked with an 8A room with the balcony. It is a regular balcony on deck 4 aft above the dining room. I may be able to get an upgrade to 8C. These are extended balconies on deck 5 forward above the main lounge. I would love the extended balcony but I am worried about noise coming from downstairs.

 

any suggestions? I'm leaning towards trying to get the upgrade.
