Princess roommate matchup service

Has anyone cruised with Princess and had a roommate match up thru them?

 

Want to cruise without having to pay high supplement fees.

Princess discontinued the matching roommates option I believe a year ago. You might want to check on your roll call to see if anyone needs/wants a roommate.

I haven't heard of Princess doing that in recent times. I know HOlland America does, or did.

Even if Princess still did this, I'd stay away from it like it was the plague. That's like going on a blind date that lasted a week!!

 

Pay the extra; you'll be glad you did.

 

All of my previous cruises have been through Atlantis Events, their single suppliment is an additional 100% of the cabin cost. My upcoming Princess cruise has a single suppliment of only 50%.

I did a Club Med years ago to Playa Blanca, Mexico. There you have to share as a single. I bunked with a 50+year old bag pipe player who brought his full kilt outfit and bagpipes. What a blast. He played every night, either in the shows or just on the beach. The Mexicans were amazed, as I don't think they ever heard bagpipes before.

 

What a blast. I wouldn't do it now, 40 years later, but it was fun and not a problem at the time.:D

I think the VxxxxxxxxTxGx website still does singles cruises and pairs folks up.
